ARX Black Edition at Fensterbau Frontale Fair

Anunced: 24 April 2024

FensterBau Frontale was held in Nuremberg, Germany from March 19 to 22, where ARX presented a range of building hardware for windows, doors and slide program in black, as well as smart home solutions. For ARX, this is the most important event in the region, as it is regularly visited by important customers and other potential partners.

This year, 973 exhibitors from 44 countries presented themselves at the fair, and the organizers counted more than 75,000 visitors from 112 countries.

The ARX black edition hardware attracted representatives of companies from all over the world, including Canada and China. The black colour is elegant and timeless but also represents novelty on the market. The black door locks got the most interest, and the new product in the ARX range of smart home solutions - a window and door sensor - received many positive responses.

The fair also provides an opportunity to check the trends and offers of the competition. Similar to other industries, many innovations in the construction industry are related to sustainable principles, such as e.g. protection against weather extremes and energy efficiency of buildings. The organizers of the fair are particularly proud that it is at this fair that many exhibitors present their innovations for the first time.

DEVELOPMENT IN THE FIELD OF SMART SOLUTIONS

Among the more noticeable trends on the market were solutions for smart homes, which once again attracted a lot of attention from visitors. Our smart home solutions are marketed under the iRX Smart Home brand and mostly include solutions for opening the front door easily and conveniently – for example via a fingerprint reader, remote control or by entering a code. We are also adding smart solutions for windows.

Thus, among our innovations for smart homes are sensors for windows and doors, which allow monitoring the condition via a mobile application. The user can check if he might have forgotten an open window or door and set reminders, e.g. when ventilating the rooms, so that the windows and doors do not remain open for too long. Therefore, unnecessary energy losses would occur. The sensors also contribute to greater security, as the application notifies the user of open windows or doors even in the event of unauthorized entry into the home.

ANTICIPATING FENSTERBAU FRONTALE 2026

Attending this influential event allowed us not only to showcase our products but also to gain valuable insight into industry trends and customer needs. We remain committed to pushing the boundaries of usability, simplicity and safety of building hardware and smart home solutions. Therefore, we eagerly await the next chapter of innovation that Fensterbau Frontale will announce and look forward to cooperation in 2026.
